Triumph Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Planning Policy And Major Sites Delivery Manager in Warwick on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on delivering the local plan through submission with hybrid, predominantly home-based work, and occasional meetings in Warwick.
You will lead a team in planning policy, major sites delivery, development monitoring and CIL, guiding the Local Plan to Examination in Public and ensuring delivery of the Local Development Scheme.
Triumph Consultants are looking for a Planning Policy And Major Sites Delivery Manager to lead their client's Planning Policy & Major Sites Delivery team, focussing on delivering the local plan through submission. Contract is for 12 months in Warwick, CV34 4UL.
Pay Rate: £24.37 per hour PAYE
Location: Warwick, CV34 4UL
Hybrid working: Predominantly home-based. You must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Warwick and able to attend meetings, committees, training and other events, sometimes at short notice and including evenings.
Relevant planning qualification and degree-level education.
Recent experience taking a Local Plan through Examination in Public (EiP).
At least 3 years’ experience managing and developing teams.
Strong experience in planning policy, major sites delivery and strategic development.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with senior officers, elected members and external partners.
Lead the Planning Policy & Major Sites Delivery team, including Planning Policy, Major Sites, Development Monitoring and CIL functions.
Lead the finalisation, submission and Examination in Public of the Local Plan, ensuring the Local Development Scheme is delivered.
Manage the delivery of major development sites, working with developers and partners to secure high-quality development and infrastructure.
Provide strategic planning advice to senior officers, elected members, developers and other stakeholders.
Lead strategic planning and growth work, including infrastructure planning, development monitoring and Duty to Cooperate activities.
