Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Labourer for a busy residential construction site in Wantage. The role focuses on keeping the site clean, safe, and efficient so skilled trades can meet deadlines.

You will assist with material movement and loading/unloading deliveries, while maintaining PPE and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a valid CSCS card, full PPE, reliability, and prior experience on residential new-build sites.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel toe-cap boots).
• Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience on a residential new-build site.
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to support a busy residential construction site in Wantage. This is a vital role ensuring the site remains safe, tidy, and efficient to allow skilled trades to meet their deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining site cleanliness and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.

Assisting skilled trades (bricklayers, carpenters, etc.) with the movement of materials.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Basic site setup and fencing/signage maintenance.

Adhering strictly to site Health & Safety protocols and Wearing full PPE at all times.
