Job summary

Superdrug is hiring an Apprentice Sales Assistant at our Wallington store. You’ll serve customers with a smile, promote Star Buys and help the store reach targets. Training is in-store for 12 months, culminating in the Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with team support throughout.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, work full-time hours, and join a brand focused on training, advancement, and great staff benefits, including discounts and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full-time shifts.
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
• You are eligible to work in the UK.
• You are brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and highlight Star Buys and promotions.
• Keep the store clean, well-stocked and looking its best to drive sales.
• Support store targets through proactive teamwork and great service.
• Training will be provided in-store over 12 months to achieve Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you’ll bring to the role:
