Job summary

TrustFord in Trowbridge is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our busy workshop. You will work on a range of vehicles, including EVs, as part of ongoing training and development.

The role offers permanent, full-time, on-site work with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. You will be trained to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance within the first year to keep your skills up to date.

Qualifications

• Requires a full valid driving licence and relevant automotive qualification.
• Experience as an automotive technician is preferred; MOT qualification a plus.
• Willingness to train to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of service and maintenance to TrustFord customers.
• Diagnose faults and repair to the required standards.
• Work with EV tech and main dealership practices where applicable.
• Maintain vehicle records and ensure safety compliance.

About You

To deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our TrustFord customers.

Have a full valid driving licence, an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.

Have previous Automotive Technician experience. Ideally, you'll also have an MOT testing qualification and some main dealership experience.

During your first 12 months of Employment, you will be trained to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and repair to ensure your skills remain relevant throughout your career with us.
