Job summary

PS Ltd in Stretford, Manchester is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for day or night shifts with weekly PAYE pay. You will handle curtain-sided trailers, pulling curtains or reversing onto loading bays, delivering to customers with Mercedes units.

Requirements include a minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience, a valid HGV Class 1 licence, a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and the ability to work independently. On-site induction provided.

PS Ltd are recruiting experienced

HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in

Stretford, Manchester, with day and night shifts available. Weekly pay and PAYE employment only.

Pay Rates

Days: £19.05 per hour

Nights: £20.73 per hour

Weekly pay

PAYE only

Day Drivers

Start times between 04:00 and 08:00.

Deliveries to the client's customers.

All curtain-sided trailers.

Pulling curtains or reversing onto a loading bay.

Automatic Mercedes vehicles.

Night Drivers

Trunk to the Palletline depot, tip, reload and return.

All goods are palletised.

No driving assessment required.

Site induction and competency questionnaire on your first day, followed by being issued keys and sent out to drive.

An onsite driver trainer is available if you need guidance.

Driver Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.

Valid HGV Class 1 licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Confident and competent driving independently.
