Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting 6 x LWB multi-drop van drivers for local routes around Manchester Airport and Trafford Park. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, with overtime paid after 7pm.

You will perform multidrop deliveries, load/unload, and engage with customers daily, while maintaining vehicle checks. Applicants must hold a Cat B licence, have LWB experience, and be able to pass a DBS check along with providing 5-year work and address histories.

Qualifications

• Cat B licence is required.
• LWB experience is needed to operate extended wheelbase vans.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Must have 5-year work history with references or character references to cover gaps.
• Must provide 5-year address history.
• Must be able to access HMRC Gateway for employment history.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multidrop deliveries, typically 70–100 stops in local area.
• Drive a Cat B van; load and unload; ensure vehicle checks.
• Provide excellent customer service on daily basis.

Van Drivers for our client based near Manchester Airport and in Trafford Park. This role will be an immediate start following successful vetting

Rates :

• Monday to Friday - Days £14.25ph
• Overtime paid at £16.90 ( any hours worked between 7pm and 8am Less 30 min Break )

Hours

8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Role

• Multidrop Deliveries - Min 70 - 100 in a local area
• Driving a Cat B Van (LWB experience needed)
• Loading and unloading of the Van
• Dealing with customers daily
• Vehicle Checks

Requirement

• Cat B Licence

with LWB experience

• Comfortable with loading and unloading
• Excellent knowledge of Manchester and the surrounding areas
• Must be able to pass a DBS and provide the following: (ESSENTIAL)

5-year work history - no gaps (or able to cover gaps with character references)

5-year references

5 Year address history

Have access to your 5 year work history on HMRC Gateway

Must be available (following induction and training) to start with short notice

Due to Insurance requirements must be a minimum age of 25 years old.
