Job summary

The Best Connection are sourcing Van (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Carlisle office on an ad-hoc and long-term basis. You will safely operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle, with a company vehicle provided and training for the scanning device.

Expect around 40 drops/collections daily across the North to business and domestic customers. Candidates should hold a B licence with up to 6 points, have at least 6 months driving experience, and a minimum of 5 years of checkable work history.

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• 5 years of checkable work history.
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates.

The Best Connection are working closely with our international client to source additionalVan (Cat B) Delivery Driversfor their Carlisle office.

Please note that the positions will be available on an ad-hoc as well as long term basis.

The role:

• Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
• Vehicle provided
• Use of a scanning device (training given)
• Parcel delivery and collection
• The work is multi-drop ofaround 40 deliveries / collectionsper day across the North.
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers

The candidate:

• \"B\" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• 5 years of checkable work history
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates
• Excellent customer service skills

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
• 08.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependant)

Pay Rates:

• Up to£22.10per hourafter 45 hours per week
• Basic of £14.73 per hour up to 45 hours per week
