Job summary

• Experience in Environmental Protection or Private Water Assessment.
• Knowledge of Pollution Control, Statutory Nuisances and Environmental Health legislation.
• Environmental Health qualification such as HNC/B.Tech, or equivalent experience supported by CPD.
• Experience working in an Environmental Health or Environmental Protection team.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out environmental health investigations, inspections and enforcement work.
• Visit premises and other locations to investigate complaints and check compliance.
• Carry out environmental sampling and assessments, including water, noise and emissions.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and other documents as required.
• Support court proceedings, meetings and other formal hearings when required.

Anticipated Length of Assignment:Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
