Job summary

TUI in Darlington is hiring an Apprentice Travel Advisor to join our Retail Team. This two-year Apprenticeship Scheme offers real hands-on experience and supports you toward a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.

You’ll help customers plan holidays, gain product knowledge, and develop your sales skills in a supportive environment. You’ll work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, with comprehensive training and a development-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Two-year Apprenticeship Scheme to develop you into a destination expert.
• Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification aimed within the apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and colleagues with your passion and help create unforgettable holidays.
• Work to exceed sales targets in a busy retail environment, both face to face and virtually.
• Receive training on our systems to confidently assist customers and answer questions.

Our two-year Apprenticeship Scheme is structured to develop you in becoming a destination expert so that you can recommend and sell holidays, Cruise, UK Breaks and additional products. You’ll put all customers at the heart of our business by creating unforgettable holiday experiences that make us the best-loved holiday company.

As part of our commitment to provide exceptional customer service and flexibility for our customers, you’ll enjoy a varied shift pattern each week including, weekends, bank holidays and evenings at some of our busier stores.

• As technology advances so does TUI, you’ll receive support and training on a variety of systems empowering you to enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours to confidently adapt your style to help answer questions whilst bringing memorable holidays to life for our customers
• You’ll be given time within your working week to complete practical and written assignments via your online learning platform and with the support of your manager and a dedicated learning coach you'll be guided through your apprenticeship with the aim to achieve a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.

Up to £12.71 per hour (depending on age)
