Reed in Partnership is recruiting Careers Coaches to empower participants in the Employability team. You will provide personalised guidance, coaching and practical job-search support to help individuals move into employment, training or education.
This role is primarily office-based with regular travel across Tees Valley to meet participants, employers and stakeholders and attend community events. Expressions of Interest are being used as a pipeline development.

Youth Jobs Guarantee is a mandatory programme supporting young people aged 18-21 who have been claiming Universal Credit for 18 months or more. The programme provides access to a fully subsidised six-month paid job, offering up to 25 hours per week at National Minimum Wage.
Alongside paid employment opportunities, participants receive personalised support designed to improve confidence, employability skills, workplace readiness and long-term career prospects.
As a Careers Coach, you will provide personalised support to participants throughout their journey towards employment. Through coaching, mentoring, careers advice and practical job-search support, you will help individuals identify strengths, overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
You will use a range of techniques including effective assessment, individual and group coaching, employability workshops and access to funding opportunities. The role also involves building strong relationships with local employers, training providers, Jobcentre Plus and community organisations to create opportunities that align with participants' aspirations.
You will play a key role in motivating participants, helping them build confidence and supporting them to develop the skills needed to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
