Lancashire Independent Living Service is seeking a Personal Assistant in the Tarleton area to support a young man with autism and anxiety. You will provide companionship, reassurance and help build confidence for independent social and leisure activities.
No personal care is required; a calm, patient and friendly approach is essential as he can be anxious when leaving the house, with interests in woodwork, photography and baking.

We are looking for someone to support a young man and act as a friend and mentor. Ideally with experience or knowledge of Autism and anxiety.
Your duties will include providing companionship and support to build confidence and promote independence and access the community for social/leisure activities. He is very creative, always with a project on the go therefore sharing his interests of woodwork, photography and baking would be advantageous.
