The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Teacher in Charge of the Specialist Centre and will play an important role in supporting pupils’ learning, communication, wellbeing, independence and inclusion. The post will involve supporting pupils within the Specialist Centre, helping pupils to access mainstream learning where appropriate, and contributing to specialist interventions and individual support programmes.We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, flexible and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, families and other professionals. Experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs and/or in a specialist provision would be desirable.
