Sutton Community Academy in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building, ensuring health and safety standards at all times.
The role requires prior experience in a similar environment, the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy.

We are looking for an individual to undertake the day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities, ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times. The successful candidate will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
To succeed, you will have previous experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment. You will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
We are keen to secure a positive Cleaning Operative who can make a telling contribution to our team. The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive cleaning team and the appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a Cleaning Supervisor and strong SLT.
