Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC in Stretton is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of. You will train and inspire your chefs, manage food preparation, stock control and health and hygiene compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub/restaurant.
• Strong focus on food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Proven ability to train and develop chefs and kitchen staff.
• Stock management and cost control proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high‑quality dishes.
• Achieve targets with the team and maintain consistency.
• Support with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee execution of a branded menu across all shifts.
