Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Remote Property Manager to join a leading block management firm operating across the Midlands, including Stratford. The role offers hybrid working with occasional site visits and a clear path for professional development.

You will manage a diverse residential portfolio, ensuring service standards, client satisfaction and value across services. Training and qualifications support are provided, along with a competitive package and performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in the property sector and keen to progress into Block Management.
• Property qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in housing.
• Proficiency with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and explain service charge budgets.
• Ensure compliance with RICS/ARMA/Landlord & Tenant legislation.
• Draft and execute Section 20 for major works.
• Engage with RMC Directors, leaseholders and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance.
• Manage insurance claims, renewals and revaluations.
• Assist with arrears and ground rent collection.
• Organise and attend client review meetings.

As a Property Manager, you'll lead your own diverse local portfolio of residential developments. You'll be pivotal in delivering the highest standards of service to freeholders, Resident Management companies, and leaseholders, ensuring there building remain presentable, complaint and the customer is receiving value for money across all services

Key Responsibilities (training provided):

• Service Charge Budgets: Prepare, manage, and explain accounts.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to RICS, ARMA, Landlord & Tenant legislation, Building Safety Act, Health & Safety, Fire Risk Assessments.

About You

• Proven experience in the property sector and keen to progress into Block Management
• Property qualification desirable, e.g., IRPM, RICS, ARLA or TPI. would be an advantage but not essential
• Good understanding of the property sector and resident engagement.
• Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
• Proven problem-solving, organisation skills, time management, and ability to prioritise workload.
• Self-motivated team player capable of working under pressure.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Propman, Qube, Tramps, Dwellant or CRM systems).
