Qualifications

• The role requires previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills are required.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
• Conducting cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Supporting inventory audits and compliance activities.
• Monitoring stock movements and system transactions.
• Producing inventory reports and analysing stock data.
• Working closely with warehouse, operational, and customer service teams.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Following all health, safety, and quality procedures.

Job description

At DSV, we keep global supply chains moving. As an Inventory Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure we deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• - Maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system
• - Conducting cycle counts and stock checks
• - Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
• - Supporting inventory audits and compliance activities
• - Monitoring stock movements and system transactions
• - Producing inventory reports and analysing stock data

Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or logistics

• - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• - Good problem-solving and organisational skills
• - Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Strong communication skills
• - A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks

Desirable

• - Import and export freight forwarding experience.
• - Experience across multiple transport modes and industry sectors.
• - Logistics and distribution industry experience.
• - Experience working with operational KPI reporting and performance management.
• - Leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
