Randstad Education is seeking a SEN Cover Teaching Assistant to support students in Stockport. The role focuses on managing a classroom, assisting KS3/KS4 pupils with pre-set work and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include behaviour management, clear feedback, discussing set work and supervising pupils under the cover manager's direction, with opportunities to develop skills in a fast-paced educational setting.

Competenze

• A degree qualification is an advantage.
• A clear DBS (this can be applied through Randstad)
• A minimum of grade A-C in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage a classroom, typically at KS3 or KS4 (ages 11-16), supporting students through prepared work. Other duties will include:

• Behaviour management
• Administer clear instructions and feedback to pupils

• Providing guidance with the set work
• Under the direction of the cover manager, supervise pupils in class during the absence of their class teacher.
