Skills 4 Pharmacy in South Shields is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily customer service and the pharmacy team, ensuring safe and efficient service.
You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and ongoing support provided to develop practical skills and industry knowledge over approximately 15 months. No prior pharmacy experience required.
As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
