Job summary

Riverford Organic Farmers Ltd in the United Kingdom is hiring a Production Operative to join a friendly, employee-owned team. The role involves packing leafy vegetables and beans, operating the SORMA netter and Multihead machines, with training provided.

This role is a permanent contract, 32 hours - Working Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday which is inclusive of Bank Holidays.

What you’ll be doing…

This role is primarily working in a small team within the Multihead fridge packing our delicate leafy items and varieties of beans and peas, and on our SORMA netter, which we use to put all our lovely citrus (and sometimes other items!) into netted bags. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality, whilst prioritising safety and maintaining operational efficiency. You’ll be given the opportunity to be multiskilled in this area. The environment is temperature controlled and can be damp, but we will provide you with the correct clothing to be warm and dry.

The SORMA and Multihead are large and intricate machines, and we will provide full training in all roles that keep the machine running.
