Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Production Operator for a busy operation in Smethwick. This hands-on role involves product preparation, order fulfilment, stock control and general warehouse duties.

You will ensure accurate order preparation, maintain high quality and safety standards, and may support occasional customer deliveries with a full UK driving licence. The pattern is Monday to Friday with an early finish every Friday, offering long-term progression opportunities and a friendly, supportive

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Previous experience within production, manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties.
• Air Fed Mask use up to 7 hours per day.

• Mixing products to specified formulas and customer requirements.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Labelling products and carrying out quality checks.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels.
• Loading and unloading goods safely.
• Completing paperwork accurately and maintaining records.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Supporting occasional customer deliveries when required.
• Due to the environment you will be required to wear a Air Fed Mask upto 7 hours per day

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety. Occasional driving duties may be required to support customer deliveries, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
