Sanctuary Group is seeking a part-time Cleaning Technician to join the Property Services team. The role covers cleaning communal areas in blocks of flats across Telford, Newport and Ketley, with travel between sites required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning and walkway maintenance.
• Clean communal areas within Telford and Newport sites and the Ketley office; travel between sites is required.
• Provide accurate progress information on allocated work.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stock levels kept.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, customer-friendly approach at all times.

Cleaning Technician - Part Time

Telford and Newport area

£12.71 per hour

24.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our Property Services team, based in Ketley. You will be working in communal areas in blocks of flats in Telford and Newport as well as an office in Ketley carrying out general cleaning duties. In this role you will be responsible for basic cleaning including but not limited to vacuuming, sanitising surfaces and cleaning communal areas within Telford and Newport area, therefore travel is required between sites.

The role of Cleaning Technician will include:

• General cleaning duties will include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of bathroom and sweeping walkway ensuring leaves and debris are removed


• Identifying and reporting potential hazards or faults on site, to maintain a safe environment


• Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of allocated work


• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a good, workable condition and stock levels are maintained


• Providing a professional, courteous and customer friendly approach to all working tasks

Skills and experiences:

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is essential


• British Institute Certificate in cleaning services


• Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery


• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation


• Good interpersonal and customer service skills


• Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads


• Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £26,436 per annum based on 40 hours per week
