Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker for our service in Scawsby, Doncaster. You will support people with learning disabilities and/or autism to promote independence and wellbeing.

No experience is necessary; you will be trained and mentored to help clients maximise their sense of wellbeing, maintain tenancies and participate in the local community. The role offers flexible nights (2-4 nights per week) and opportunities to develop in health and social care.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; aptitude and passion to help others.
• Waking night role providing support to enable independence and wellbeing.
• Role based at Scawsby, Doncaster with bus routes nearby.

Job description

We are looking for fun, energetic and adaptable individuals to join our vibrant service providing support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism at our supported living service in Scawsby, Doncaster. You will work to support clients with daily tasks to promote independence, whilst enabling individuals to enjoy fulfilling and valued lives.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide outcome focused support to enable clients to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes.

You will help our clients to maximise their sense of wellbeing and independence through tailored, ongoing care and support and will help facilitate engagements with their peers and out in their local community utilising opportunities for personal development.
