Job summary

Craigbank ELC at Clackmannanshire Council is seeking a Senior Early Learning and Childcare Educator to help deliver a high-quality ELC service that meets the needs of children and families, in line with policy and procedures.

The post holder will assist in managing, planning and implementing a quality ELC service, and will work both independently and as part of a team to support colleagues in developing a flexible early education and childcare service. This role is term-time with pro rata pay.

Please note as this post is term time, your salary will be pro rata to weeks worked.

If you start out with the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay. This is because you are not entitled to be paid for all holidays. Once this adjustment has been completed, you will receive a 12

th of your annual salary thereafter.

You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay is due to advise of the amount that will be deducted.

If you start on the first day of term, this will not apply to you.

The postholder will:

You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply.
