Job summary

Nuffield Health is recruiting a Clean Team Member for our Saltaire gym to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members and staff. The role involves cleaning changing rooms, gym areas, showers and poolside spaces, and using cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers and carpet cleaners under supervision from a Team Leader.

We value a friendly, well-organised individual with experience in cleaning who can follow cleaning processes and contribute to high standards of customer

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Be well organised and able to follow cleaning processes.
• Able to use cleaning equipment safely (scrubber dryers, rotary machines, carpet cleaners).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare a range of areas at our club.
• Care about our customers and maintain a pleasant environment.
• Take pride in your work and follow cleaning schedules.
• Ensure changing rooms, showers and poolside areas are clean and safe.
• Handle waste removal and periodic deep cleaning.

20 hours per week

A major part of this role will involve cleaning the male changing rooms and so we require a Male Cleaner only for this role. This in no way affects any other candidate rights. Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9.

As part of the Nuffield Clean Team Member at our gym, we'll expect you to organise your work and plan your time with assistance from a Team Leader to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer's experience. You will use the latest cleaning equipment, products and this will be supported by a first‑class training programme. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you're interacting with colleagues and customers.

As a Clean Team Member, you will:
