Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood in Shipley is seeking a Male Clean Team Member on a fixed-term, part-time basis (20 hours per week). The role focuses on cleaning male changing rooms and related areas, with pro-rata pay up to £26,707 per year depending on experience.

You will work under a Team Leader, use scrubber dryers and carpet cleaners, and contribute to a clean, safe gym environment. Applicants must be male for this specific area; training and benefits including gym discounts and pension are

Qualifications

• Organised and able to follow cleaning processes and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare areas at the club, including male changing rooms, showers and poolside
• Care about customers and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Take pride in work and ensure cleaning tasks are completed on time
• Use cleaning equipment safely (scrubber dryers, rotary machines, carpet cleaners)
• Support a clean, safe environment for members and staff

Male Clean Team Member

Shipley | Gym | Fixed Term | Part Time

Up to 26,707.00 GBP Annual pro rata depending on experience

20 hours per week

A major part of this role will involve cleaning the male changing rooms and so we require a Male Cleaner only for this role. This in no way affects any other candidate rights. Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9.

As part of the Nuffield Clean Team Member at our gym, we’ll expect you to organise your work and plan your time with assistance from a Team Leader to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer’s experience. You will use the latest cleaning equipment, products and this will be supported by a first-class training programme. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you’re interacting with colleagues and customers.

As a Clean Team Member, you will:

• Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning processes are followed and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for customers.

• Be responsible for a variety of tasks, from gym, changing room, shower & poolside cleaning, waste removal & periodic deep cleaning
