Job summary

Amey on-site Electrician role in Rochdale focuses on planned and preventative electrical maintenance to keep essential systems safe, compliant and operational within the prison estate. The role is full-time, on-site in Rochdale, with a permanent contract and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

You will diagnose faults, carry out like-for-like replacements and minor electrical works, and ensure inspections, testing and recording in line with BS 7671.

• Apply Health & Safety standards, risk assessments and safe systems of work consistently.
• Support escorting and wider operational duties to help the site run safely and effectively.
