Job summary

b3 jobs ltd is seeking a Technical Manager to lead and enhance the quality management system across our Hampshire/Dorset site. You will ensure compliance with food safety, quality, integrity and legality, maintaining and improving HACCP plans and prerequisite programs.

In this role you will manage all stages of the NPD process, ensuring documentation supports compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The package includes strong pension contributions and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years within food safety and compliance.
• Familiar with BRC Food Safety version 8.
• Working knowledge of HACCP.

About the Technical Manager job

You will maintain and continually improve the quality management system in order to ensure compliance with legislative requirements for food safety, quality, integrity and legality.

Key tasks

• Ensure the HACCP plan and prerequisite programs are effectively documented and reviewed at a necessary frequency.
• Maintain, update and review the specification database including third part specification systems.
• Manage all stages of the NPD procedure and ensure they are documented in order to provide evidence of compliance.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years within food safety and compliance Familiar with all aspects of BRC Food Safety version 8Working knowledge of HACCP
• Food Safety Level 3
• ONC or degree in Food Science / Technology or relatable subject

The Technical Manager job is based in Hampshire / Dorset and is paying £50,000 to £55,000 according to your experience.

• The package includes 28 days including bank holidays (increased by 1 day for each year of service), and a 5% employer pension contribution.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.

The site is in Hampshire and is commutable from The New Forest, Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton and Salisbury and surrounding towns.
