Job summary

Cosine UK Ltd is seeking a full-time seasonal Merchandiser to support McCormick Foods’ Schwartz Herbs & Spices campaign. You will travel across Exeter, Plymouth and surrounding areas, stocking shelves, merchandising to planograms and keeping displays looking their best.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with heavy lifting and field visits. A company van and fuel card are provided; briefing on Sep 29th at Head Office in Stokenchurch. Campaign runs until 31st December 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail essential.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving a company van.
• Able to work independently and manage a busy field workload.
• Willingness to move stock and lift items regularly.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for reporting and updates.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores across your territory to stock Schwartz products and ensure correct merchandising.
• Deliver stock from a depot to stores and follow store back-door processes.
• Maintain planograms and tidy displays, report stock levels and out-of-stocks.
• Take before/after photos and log activity via an app after each visit.

Looking for full-time work through to the end of the year? Join our seasonal merchandising team, working on behalf of McCormick Foods - the makers of well-known Schwartz Herbs & Spices.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Benefits: Company van provided + fuel card

Ideal location: Truro, United Kingdom, TR10

Territory: Exeter, Plymouth and surrounding areas

What will you be doing?

This is a field-based merchandising role, so you'll spend your day out on the road, visiting grocery stores across your territory and making sure Schwartz products are fully stocked, correctly merchandised and looking their best.

Your day will include:

• Driving a company van across your territory to visit allocated stores.
• Collecting stock from a nominated depot and delivering it directly to stores.
• Following the correct store back-door and stock delivery processes.
• Replenishing Schwartz Herbs & Spices onto the main fixture.
• Merchandising products accurately to agreed planograms.
• Checking stock levels and reporting any out-of-stock products.
• Making sure secondary displays are fully stocked, tidy and looking great.
• Taking before and after photos of your work.
• Reporting completed activity through an app after each visit.

Please note: This is a physical role involving the regular movement and lifting of stock, so you must be comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the working day.

This role would be a great fit if you:

• Have previous merchandising, grocery or retail experience.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and are confident driving a company van.
• Enjoy being out on the road and working independently.
• Are organised and able to plan and manage a busy workload.
• Are confident using a smartphone and apps to complete reporting.
• Are physically able and willing to move and lift stock throughout the day.
• Have access to a mobile phone and internet connection that you are happy to use for work.
• Can commit to working for the full duration of the seasonal campaign until 31st December 2026.
