Job summary

QuTec Pershore Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our small, family-run engineering team. The role involves both batch welding and bespoke one-off fabrication projects, offering a varied workload in a friendly, supportive environment.

We operate a 39-hour working week over four days, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, be able to read drawings (preferred), and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred).
• Good eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate to specifications and drawings.
• Work on production batches and bespoke fabrication projects.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Meet project deadlines and communicate progress to the team.

Working Hours

39-hour working week over four days

Monday to Thursday

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience in welding and fabrication.

The ability to work from engineering drawings (preferred).

A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Good physical fitness, as the role can be physically demanding.

Their own transport, as our location is not easily accessible by public transport.
