Job summary

Rullion in Oxford is seeking a Senior / Technical Services Manager to lead MEP packages on a major fit-out project. You will coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and handover, chair progress meetings with clients and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with RAMS, quality, and H&S standards.

The role demands strong site-based leadership, excellent coordination of MEP subcontractors and suppliers, and the ability to manage risks and reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior / Technical Services Manager.
• Strong site-based experience coordinating subcontractors and driving projects through testing, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Providing MEP Technical Services support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Taking ownership of MEP packages and ensuring successful delivery.
• Developing and managing MEP programmes, including design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating MEP subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Chairing and managing MEP coordination and progress meetings with subcontractors and the client team.
• Monitoring MEP progress, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Reviewing and managing RAMS, quality documentation, test packs and commissioning information.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning, demonstrations and handover.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and non-conformances.
• Supporting the Project/Contracts Manager with programme updates and MEP progress reporting.
• Monitoring MEP subcontractor performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Working closely with the commercial/QS team regarding MEP costs, changes and commercial risks.
• Supporting client relationships and managing technical expectations.
• Ensuring MEP works comply with relevant H&S, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinating interfaces between MEP systems and other specialist packages.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Senior / Technical Services Manager to join a major Oxford fit-out project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

MEP, Mechanical or Plumbing Services Manager/Supervisor with strong site-based experience and a proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage technical services and drive projects through to testing, commissioning and handover.

The Role

Working closely with the Project/Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of the MEP Technical Services packages across the project lifecycle, from pre-construction and design coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing

MEP Technical Services support throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a

Technical Services Manager, MEP Manager, Mechanical Manager, Plumbing Manager or Senior MEP Supervisor.

• A strong

mechanical/plumbing background is highly desirable.

• Experience working on

high-end fit-out, refurbishment or commercial projects.

• Strong understanding of MEP installation, coordination, testing and commissioning.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors and supply chains.
• Confidence chairing meetings and dealing directly with clients and project stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of

RAMS, quality control, test packs and commissioning.

• Good understanding of construction programmes and MEP sequencing.
• Ability to identify technical, commercial and contractual risks.

CSCS Manager/Black Card preferred.
