Job summary

Medecho LTD seeks an experienced Consultant General Medicine to join an NHS Trust on a locum (agency) basis. Immediate start with ongoing duration, potential extension. On-site at UK NHS Trust locations, with prior NHS consultant experience preferred.

You will conduct ward rounds, patient assessments, supervise juniors, and contribute to governance. GMC registration is required, with entry on Specialist Register for General Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• GMC registration required to practise in the UK.
• Specialist Register in General Internal Medicine or equivalent experience.
• Previous NHS consultant level experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to General Medicine patients.
• Conduct ward rounds, patient assessments and clinical reviews.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Must be available to start ASAP.
• Must be flexible and willing to travel for the assignment.

Desirable Requirements

• Recent NHS Consultant experience in General Medicine.
• ALS certification.
• Experience working in acute medical settings.
