Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is seeking a compassionate care professional to support a young adult at home during Waking Nights (9pm–8am) in Northampton. You will provide personal care, assist with airway management, and supervise ventilator use in a wheelchair-enabled setting, ensuring comfort, safety and dignity throughout the night.

There is a pet dog in the home, and the role offers meaningful, rewarding work helping a client maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience in night-time care and patient safety is essential.
• Qualified in health and social care with good patient communication.
• Ability to manage ventilator equipment and airway support at night.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care during waking nights (9pm–8am).

Shifts: Waking Nights - 9pm - 8am - Availability Throughout The Week

You will be working in the family home of a young adult where you will make a real difference in providing care and support throughout the night. Our client uses a wheelchair due to spinal muscular atrophy and uses a ventilator at night.

He enjoys playing computer games, watching TV and likes to go bowling and to the cinema.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional. There is a pet dog in the home so animal lovers are welcome to apply.
