Job summary

Movianto in Newcastle is hiring a Van Driver on a fixed-term contract ending 30 November 2026. You will be delivering pharmaceutical products on a Sunday-Thursday schedule, 42.5 hours per week, with a salary of £29,971.05 per year.

The role requires valid licences, daily vehicle checks, and adherence to drivers hours and tachograph rules. You’ll join a leading healthcare logistics partner focused on safe, compliant pharma deliveries and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-drop delivery operations experience.
• Current valid driving licence and licences/authorisations required.
• Ability to work Sunday to Thursday on a 42.5-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical products in a timely manner.
• Carry out daily maintenance checks and keep the vehicle clean.
• Comply with drivers hours and tachograph regulations.
• Wear safety and company uniforms as required.

• Operating company vehicles providing appropriate licences and authorisations are current.
• Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
• Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations.
• Wear at all times such safety and company uniforms as provided.

• Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience.
• Flexible in approach to work hours.
• Demonstrate honesty, credibility and is punctual and present.
• Demonstrate an awareness of the importance of customer satisfaction and shows interest in customer needs.
