Job summary

TRT Welding Services Ltd in Neath, United Kingdom, is seeking experienced production welders to join our busy team, working on a varied range of products.

You must be time-served with at least 3 years MIG welding experience on mild steel (1mm–20mm). Reading engineering drawings and working to deadlines is essential; stainless steel experience is a bonus.

Working hours are 38 per week: Mon-Thu 7:00–3:30 and Fri 7:00–1:30. Starting pay £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Time-served welder with minimum 3 years' experience.
• Proficient MIG welding to a high standard.
• Able to read and work to engineering drawings.
• Experience in a busy production environment with a time-driven attitude.
• Able to accurately record all job bookings.
• Able to work under own initiative.
• Experience in welding stainless steel is advantageous.
• Current or previous EN 9606-1 coding is advantageous.

A great opportunity exists for experienced, motivated and skilled production welders to join our busy production team, working on the company's varied product ranges.

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS WELDING EXPERIENCE WITH MILD STEEL OF GAUGES 1MM TO 20MM

Knowledge – Skills – Experience:

• Must be time served in welding / minimum experience 3 years
• Must be able to MIG weld to a high standard
• Must be able to read/work to engineering drawings
• Working in a busy production environment, a time driven work attitude is required
• Accurately record all job bookings
• Work under own initiative
• Experience in welding stainless steel an advantage
• Current or previous coding to EN 9606-1 an advantage
