Job summary

Little Angels Nursery is seeking a motivated Lunchtime Assistant to join our team. You will help with lunch supervision for children aged 0-4 and assist with a variety of age-appropriate activities.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 11:15am to 1:45pm, year round. The role requires caring and compassionate individuals who can learn quickly and follow nursery policies, with references and DBS checks as part of the onboarding.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare is desirable but not required.
• Caring and compassionate individual who is quick to learn and can make a difference to our team.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow nursery policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist children during lunchtime with hot meals or packed lunches and provide supervision.
• Identify and meet the needs of children during staff lunch periods.
• Work with a variety of age groups from 0-4 years and help deliver high quality activities.
• Develop positive working relationships with children and staff and work as part of a team.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join us as a Lunchtime Assistant.

You will be under the supervision and guidance of senior staff, and you will provide the highest level of care for children attending the nursery.

• The individual needs of children are identified and met during staff lunch periods.
• Company policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to at all times.
• Positive working relationships with children and staff.
• To work with a variety of age groups from 0-4 years.
• To assist with delivering high quality fun activities.
• Work as a team member.
