Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an Immediate HGV2 Driver for a national removal company. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, load/unload household goods, and maintain paperwork accurately. The role is temporary with ongoing work across early/late shifts.

Shifts typically 0600–1400 and 1400–2200, weekends required with premium rates. Pay from £15/hour, up to 28 days annual leave; Visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must have valid licences and CPC card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with packing and moving furniture.
• Experience completing paperwork and due diligence accurately.

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Comply with all road transport and health and safety regulations
• Load and unload household goods
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Operate with the upmost respect and care for clients’ belongings

Duration: This is a temporary role with consistent ongoing work available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Pay rates are available from £15 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days annual leave. Please note – we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorships.

Working Hours: Shifts are typically run 0600 to 1400 and 1400 to 2200. This role is not Monday to Friday and weekends are required with premium rates.
