Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking dedicated Care Assistants to support residents in Matlock with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility support. This brand-new role offers flexible daytime hours and weekly pay in a welcoming care team.

You will work with carers and nurses, maintain records, and help deliver person-centred care for elderly residents. DBS and training certificates are preferred, and subsidies for online training may be offered; sponsorships are not provided.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
• Full up-to-date CV
• Reference showing at least 6 months’ experience in a Residential Care Home.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities in a person-centred way.
• Collaborating with Carers and Nurses to keep shift operations smooth.
• Providing hands-on support including personal care, moving and handling, and general housekeeping.

We are launching a fresh recruitment drive for dedicated Care Assistants to join our team, offering weekly paid daytime hours across Matlock.

You will be joining a welcoming, established team focused on delivering exceptional care to elderly residents living with age-related conditions.

Your daily focus:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities using a person-centred approach tailored to individual care packages.
• Working collaboratively alongside Carers and Nurses to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Delivering hands-on support including personal care, moving and handling, and general housekeeping.
• Maintaining accurate records and providing clear updates to senior team members.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• - An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service
• - Up to date mandatory training certificates
• - Full up-to-date CV
• - A referenceable employment history with one reference referring to a minimum of 6 months of experience within a Residential Care Home.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

You will be working from 07:45 to 20:00 on days throughout the week

You will be paid £13.50 per hour, with hours being paid weekly and holiday entitlement accrued on a F.T.E basis.
