Job summary

Randstad UK CPE team is currently recruiting a Traffic Marshall for an ongoing residential project in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

Your duties include guiding vehicles, using hand signals and radios, and monitoring for obstructions. You will support site safety, assist with security, and keep traffic records. A valid NPORS or CPCS Card and at least two years of experience on large sites are required, along with a recent reference.

Qualifications

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites.
• A recent, checkable work reference is essential.
• A proactive approach to site safety and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.
• Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking immediate action to mitigate risks.
• Implementing established traffic management plans and ensuring the safety of pedestrians at crossing points.
• Assisting with site security to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate records of traffic flow or incidents.
• Participating in toolbox talks and reporting any safety hazards to site management.
