Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, maintaining high expectations for learning, numerical fluency, and pupil progress.

Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Adapt learning delivery to accommodate students with diverse learning styles and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Leave clear handover notes for regular class teachers when fulfilling day-to-day cover assignments.

For long-term roles: plan, assess, and mark work, participate in department meetings, and contribute to parents' evenings as required.

What We Look For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (or recognised UK teaching qualification).

Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to step into unfamiliar secondary settings with ease.

Specialist subject knowledge in Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

An adaptable, punctual, and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
