Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established and growing fabrication business specialising in bespoke metalwork projects across the UK.

Responsibilities include fabrication and welding of bespoke metalwork, manufacturing staircases and structural steelwork, reading drawings, and occasional site installations. Competitive pay based on experience; early finish every Friday and nationwide project exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' fabrication/welding experience.
• Strong MIG welding experience (essential).
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Willingness to work away occasionally when required.
• CSCS Card advantageous due to site installation work.
• FLT licence advantageous.

• Manufacturing staircases, balustrades and structural steelwork
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Site installations and fitting work
• Maintaining high quality standards throughout production
• Following all health and safety procedures

Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years' fabrication/welding experience
• Strong MIG welding experience (essential)
• MAG and TIG welding experience beneficial
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• CSCS Card advantageous due to site installation work
• FLT licence advantageous
• Willingness to work away occasionally when required
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Hours of Work:

• Monday - Tuesday: 6:00am - 15:45pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am

Competitive pay rate based on experience
