Welland Primary School in Malvern Hills is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team, working 31 hours 15 minutes a week to support a child with additional needs.
The successful candidate will work flexibly across the school to assist with learning activities, reinforce routines, and help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills. A genuine interest in autism, ADHD and sensory needs is highly beneficial.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to work 31 hours and 15 minutes per week. The role will involve supporting a child with additional needs, so experience of - or a genuine interest in - autism, ADHD, emotional regulation, and sensory needs would be highly b eneficial. The post may also require the successful candidate to work flexibly across the whole school to support pupils wherever needed.

Start date: A soon as possible
Salary: TA2, SCP5-6, £26,427 - £26,847 FTE. Actual Salary: £19,173 – £19,918. The scale point will depend on experience.
Hours: 31 hours 15 minutes a week, Term Time Only plus 8 staff development days
Working pattern: Typically, 5 days 8:45 – 3:30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break, however this could be negotiable and we would consider a job share.
