Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable counterbalance forklift driver for immediate start on a genuine temp-to-perm basis. You will operate a counterbalance forklift and help with general warehousing tasks in a small team.

A dusty warehouse environment is expected, so comfort with that setting is required. A valid counterbalance licence and relevant experience are essential; a driving licence may be advantageous for occasional flatbed driving.

Job description

Weekly pay for a counterbalance forklift driver. Work starting immediately and genuine temp to perm opportunity.

An opportunity has arisen for a forklift operator to join a great company. You will be working as a forklift operator, so a counterbalance forklift licence is essential for this role. As this is a small team you will be expected to also help with general warehousing duties and co-operate with everybody.

There is potential for the successful applicant to be trained up in powder coating – but the main requirement is a hard-working attitude

As this is a dusty warehouse, please do not apply if you are not comfortable with this.

You must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and experience in a similar role.

A valid driving licence could be an advantage as you may be required to drive a flatbed truck occasionally.

This is a genuine temp to perm opportunity

The times you will be working will be 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Thursday with an 8am start on a Friday.

The rate of pay for this is £13.00 per hour and you will accrue up to 28 days of holiday pay per year.
