Job summary

Randstad Education in Forest Row is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to steer daily room operations, inspire a team of practitioners, and deliver a stimulating EYFS-based curriculum in a warm, safe environment.

The role is permanent and full-time (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday). You will assess children's progress, maintain records, mentor staff, and partner with parents while upholding safeguarding standards; salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent/above).
• Proven experience in an Early Years setting with understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Leadership: Prior supervisory or room leadership experience preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion: Enthusiasm for outdoor learning and nature-based play.
