Job summary

Seddon Agency Limited is seeking a vigilant Security Guard for 12-hour shifts with an immediate start. The role involves controlling access, patrolling premises, and maintaining logs and incident reports.

You will conduct high visibility patrols, monitor surveillance, and ensure only authorised personnel can enter. The position requires reliability, professionalism, and clear reporting of incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence (include in application).
• Good communication skills and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Keep a log of all site activity.
• Complete site security paperwork including incident reports, sign in/out sheets, patrol logs, daily logs and handover sheets.
• Provide regular high profile external and internal patrols.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, inspecting buildings and access points, and permitting entry.
• Prevent incidents by maintaining a visible presence and reporting incidents to authorities.
• Complete reports by documenting observations, occurrences and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.

About the job:

Must be flexible for 12 hour shifts

Immediate Start

Control access to entrances and ensuring only authorised personnel are allowed to enter.

Keep a log of all site activity.

Complete all site security paperwork to include incident report, sign in/out sheets, patrols logs, daily logs and handover sheets.

To provide regular high profile external and internal patrols.

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Prevents incidents and damage by providing a visual presence and reporting all incidents to the authorities.

Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Skills/experience required:
