Job summary

Seddon Agency Limited is seeking a vigilant security officer in Stoke-on-Trent to safeguard entrances and monitor activity. You will enforce access control, patrol premises and complete daily security logs and incident reports.

Ideal candidates are reliable, friendly, well-presented and capable of high-profile external and internal patrols with basic IT skills and a valid SIA license. Immediate start and 12-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible for 12 hour shifts.
• Must have Valid SIA licence (include in application).
• Proven ability to monitor surveillance equipment and report incidents.

Responsibilities

• Control access to entrances and ensure only authorised personnel enter.
• Keep a log of site activity and complete security paperwork.
• Carry out regular external and internal patrols and monitor surveillance.

About the job:

Must be flexible for 12 hour shifts

Immediate Start

Control access to entrances and ensuring only authorised personnel are allowed to enter.

Keep a log of all site activity.

Complete all site security paperwork to include incident report, sign in/out sheets, patrols logs, daily logs and handover sheets.

To provide regular high profile external and internal patrols.

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Prevents incidents and damage by providing a visual presence and reporting all incidents to the authorities.

Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Skills/experience required:

Surveillance Skills Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills. Valid SIA licence (include in application) communication, Basic IT skills.
