Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a school Cook to work in our Lancaster area kitchens. You’ll be at the heart of the school, preparing and serving tasty, nutritious meals to students, staff and visitors.

This term-time role includes supervising a kitchen team, planning menus, and ensuring food hygiene and nutritional standards are met. Shifts start at 6:30–7:00 to allow ordering ahead, with a salary up to £25,583 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Safety qualification required; ability to plan menus.
• Experience budgeting for meals and ordering in bulk.
• Experience running a kitchen and ordering is essential.
