Job summary

Meridian Business Support is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a care home in Knutsford. You will plan and prepare high-quality meals, meet residents' dietary needs, and create nutritious menus while supervising the kitchen team.

You will manage stock and budgets, ensure high standards of hygiene and safety, and minimise waste in a well-organised kitchen. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive salary of £16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Senior Chef.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Experience managing and training kitchen staff.
• Understanding of special diets and nutritional requirements.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
