Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for 2 Night Hygiene Operatives to join a dedicated team within a busy food manufacturing environment in Prescot, Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Factory Hygiene Operative looking to join a supportive business offering full training, career progression and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience is required.
• Industrial hygiene or industrial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Understanding of internal auditing processes is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ambition to progress into a future Hygiene Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

• Clean walls, floors and production machinery within the packing area.
• Prepare production lines to ensure they are ready for the morning shift.
• Carry out swabbing to verify the effectiveness of cleaning procedures.
• Report daily non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are completed before production begins.
• Complete weekly chemical stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Update hygiene documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
