Job summary

Co-op Group in Kirkwall is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a busy Co-op store and lead a small team on shift. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, stock and customer service, and play a key role in delivering community-focused services.

This part-time role offers varied shifts including early mornings and evenings, with regular overtime. You’ll be supported by full training and enjoy the Co-op membership benefits and staff discounts.

Location: Pickaquoy Road , Kirkwall, KW15 1RR

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 30-39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening 6am), afternoons, late evenings (store closing 10pm) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
