Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Braunton to run daily operations with a small team. You’ll lead shifts, ensure smooth service, and support stock, merchandising and membership growth. The role may involve working in our post office, bakery or online services, depending on the store.

You’ll drive colleague development, keep customers happy, and embody Co-op values, including community involvement and social responsibility. Training and career progression are provided.

• For leadership, ability to motivate and coach a small team on shift
• Experience in retail or store operations is beneficial
• Passion for people, service and community engagement

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 25 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (5am opening), afternoons, late evenings (10pm closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What you'll do
